Archery Tag Game Rules

There is a 5-minute start up time. The games consist of 2 halves, 7 mins each. Halftime is 1 minute long to restock arrows. There is a 10 minute cleaning time out to clean out the eqpt. and the arena between the games.

Domination:

There are 2 teams with 5 players each. The objective is to tag as many players on the opposite team as possible. A tag counts when the arrowhead hits any part of the body, clothing, or mask. The winning team is the one that has the last person standing.

    1. For the safety of all, we request everyone involved in the game must wear a mask (including players on the sidelines and referees). Please ensure that the mask is secure and does not move excessively during the game.
    2. Teams must have a minimum of 2 players and up to a maximum of 4 players.
    3. Please respect all players. Bows and arrows are to be used only as intended in the context of playing Archery Tag®. Bows or arrows are not to be used as clubs to knock arrows out of the air or hit other players. Violent or disrespectful behavior will result in play being stopped.
    4. Obscene language and/or gestures will result in players being eliminated from the game.
    5. Timeouts will be limited to equipment safety issues and injured players. On the rare occasion of an injury, please immediately notify the referee to stop play and attend to the injured player.
    6. Acceptable areas to be hit: your bow, any body part
    7. Each game shall consist of a first to 3 round wins
    8. If neither team has been eliminated at the end of the time limit, the team with the greater number of players at the end of the timed game (5 minutes) will be declared the winner
